Huntington (West Hills) (New York, Huntington Station, Springs: houses, purchase, school)

Can anyone name streets as boundaries N,S,E,W, to what is likely the very worst area of Huntington or Huntington Station

Looking to purchase house in the cross sections of Cold Springs Hill Road, north of Route 25, and oakwood road by oakwood elementary.

Is that a good area or is this too close to New York Ave?

If you stay on the school side of Oakwood you’re ok. The other side is ok close to Oakwood and you will know when you’ve strayed too far. Houses just aren’t as nice. My sisters kids went to Oakwood many years ago and she lived walking distance.

Cold Spring Hills is a nice area. No worries.
