You are right. I consider anything under 400K cheap. I just saw a listing for a 6 bedroom 3 bath house in Mastic NY for 370K. But it’s very very far!

Years ago a co-worker's sister made the mistake of buying there....watched her house value drop like a stone while everyone else's was going up. She worked for our company as well, and when they offered a free location package to NJ, she jumped on it, the company bought her house and everything. Luckily her husband had a job that was easily transferrable. She lucked out big time.

Very lucky. My parents are still stuck there. Same deal...house never goes up. Truly sad.
There is a serious lack of investment in Wyandach. Aint even a Mcdonald's in Wyandach. You go right over to Deer Park, there are businesses everywhere.
