Interesting story , I would have lost my mind as well. Did you speak to anyone at Aboffs or Ben Moore? My experience with Ben Moore paints and Aura in particular has been great. Except for one room I have repainted my entire house with Aura. Wonder if you got a bad batch or there was still something left over from the wallpaper adhesive?
You know I think they actually took it off the market for a while. It had JUST come out when we used it. I'm telling you these walls were CLEAN. I never followed up with anyone as we were in a moving frenzy and it quickly fell off my radar.
I had the interior of my home painted in Behr Ultra Premium four years ago. I just had to do some touch-up painting this month, and reopened the cans I had stored in my basement. I had figured that the walls in the areas that receive direct sunlight would have faded some, and that the touchup paint would be noticeable, but I am happy to report that the walls had not faded AT ALL, and the touchups are absolutely seamless. (BTW, I had tried to remove the scuffs with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser first, but that changed the sheen on the wall, which had been painted using flat paint. That is why I had to resort to touching up.)
The only issue I have had with Behr Ultra Premium is when painting over a dark stained wood using Ultra White semigloss paint. I sanded first, but needed to use three coats of paint. Not a big deal.
