It is lawyers like this that give lawyers a bad name. There really ARE ethical & competent lawyers.
I don't think it took me 30 seconds to get the credit from CV. Heck - CV even giving credit for outages when it was not even CV's fault - the power was out, not CV service.

If LIPA was even close to CV's response to this storm, there certainly would not be the furor over LIPA.

This lawyer should be sued for raising cablevision rates.

Cable doesn't work if the house its feeding does not have power. The node hardware themselves also require power(the node batteries only last for so long.) .

my cablevision worked and i had no power to my house for 12 days. I had a generator hooked up to my cable box.

Just FYI, this whole "suing for $X million" b.s. has no basis in reality. It's not like they sue for a certain amount and then they either get that or not; damages are awarded by the jury or the judge depending on the circumstances, and have to be supported with evidence. Plaintiff attorneys simply pick a big number to make the case sound big, and because if they pick a low number, the defense will tell the jury that that is the maximum value of the case.
