Plainedge, Massapequa and Bethpage Schools (new home, purchasing, taxes)

My wife an I are thinking of purchasing a new home. We were wondering if anyone has opinions about the quality of these three districts. It seems the taxes for Plainedge schools are significantly higher than the other areas - is this reflected in the quality of the education received by students?

Any insight into the districts, particularly regarding safety, quality, long-term viability, red flags, etc., would be greatly appreciated.
