having people over for my kid's birthday and wanted to get a cake with characters on it. Can anyone recommend a bakery that makes kids birthday cakes in the New Hyde Park, Great Neck, bayside area?

TIA

I've used ButterCooky bakery in Floral Park on Jericho Tpke on a number of occassions and thought it to be excellent.

if you can't find a bakery your local supermarket bakery should be able to handle this.

I'll go with Malverne Bakery and Buttercrooky as well or Riesterers Bakery in West Hempstead.

Yup Buttercooky. They put an image of The Little Mermaid, Ariel on my daughter's birthday cake last month. Came out real nice.
