Any recommendations for portrait studios for baby/children's holiday photos on long island? Where have you had the best experiences regarding both price and picture results?
(In the past we have tried kiddie candids at Babies R Us and just hated the pictures, prices and whole experience. They were very vague and sketchy about telling us prices and packages. Did not want to let us know about the cheaper options and made it seem like the only option we had was to buy this really expensive CD when there only a total of 8 pictures that were acceptable)
Forever Fireflies is great and reasonably priced Heather has done our pictures the past 3 years. She books quick for holiday shoots though, don't know if she will have any openings. She has a facebook page she is on often.
Other than that. Target is great in a pinch, but you're going to get the same kind of photos you get at Kiddie Kandids, JC Penney, Sears etc.
Was out in that County to the East last weekend and stopped in Target. Their potrait studio was doing a great business...all the little mulletted headed rugrats with their mullett headed parents looking to take holiday pictures.
Not sure what the price was..probably cheaper than most...but it was busy.
