Paying online does have a cost associated with it.

#1 your time buy not having to go in and pay it - convenience
#2 the upfront cost for the development of the online payment system
#3 the recurring cost to maintain the system (user licenses, hardware support, bandwidth, SLA's)

In the end they are making a profit of off the process but this is to give you some insight of some of the costs.

About a month later. Got one in town of Huntington and I was impressed over the high quality picture/video of myself blowing a red light

And yea $50.

we should feel lucky that it's cheaper than the city... $75 last I paid. Never running again.

Damn. Well I mean they can charge more for Mcdonalds so I guess they can charge more for this right?
