Was listening to the radio on the way to work and someone calling into a radio station claimed people were looting in the town of Mastic because the power has yet to get fixed there. Can anyone verify this?

We saw looters in beat up pickup trucks ravaging the town. Followed a few, many of the degenerates fled up the Wf and pulled off south of Ridge and up to Rocky Point....Levy should declare an emergency, a curfew, and bring in the national guard to deal with these savages.

To put in perspective, I think they'd do better looting in Mastic than RP. Talk about a dump...

Did you call the SCPD or did you just follow the truck hoping something would fall off for you to scoop up?
A Newsday article the other day (either Monday or yesterday) said that there were "isolated incidents of looting in Mastic Beach" and that the SCPD "were increasing patrols".
When did the National Guard stop using force to disperse looters and other scum during the aftermath of natural disasters and during riots?
