Pub opening/closing times depend on each individual pub/bar/club. They need to apply for a licence from the council but they could open 24/7 (save religious holidays) if the council agreed.

In practice most pubs/bars close at midnight or 1.00 am (at the weekend) and at 11.00 pm during the week. Clubs will still be going at 2/3/4 am.

As to how people get around - taxis. Well, we need to keep the immigrants employed some how

I think the main risks are you may be the owner of a vehicle rather than the..
Driver. You may recieve one of these notices and then for some reason you..
May fumble the notice.you may lose it before you send it,you may fill it in..
Incorrectly.Do that TWICE and you ll be banned from driving.

They give maps out free these days. Can be picked up at train stations or paper shops.

Night buses run all night...they al begin with N and as someone said always sit down stairs. I miss the old style buses with conductors and that string bell you pulled

I think most pubs close at 11 or midnight although as of a few years ago pubs can open 24 hrs or ist it that you can drink 24 hrs? Someone else mightknow better.
