i am a young professional female and im looking to find a normal roommate but dont really know where to look...
besides craigslist and roomster.com, do you guys have any other suggestions?

I wish I could be of help as finding a compatible roommate can be an exhausting, frustrating venture.

Someone calls, you set up an appointment, and then, any number of them may have already found a place, never bothering to call you and cancel the appointment. And there you wait and wait. Meanwhile, someone else has called, and you miss meeting that person, because you were waiting for someone else who never shows up.

Or you do have someone come over, they tell you they'll stop next week with the deposit, and you trust they're going to move in, only to find out, in the meantime, they found some place else to move to, and never bother to inform you.

There's also the LV Review Journal, and I found my last roommate through advertising in the Latin Newspapers. My current roommate has been here 11 years. It works out great. I wanted someone I could practise Spanish with everyday.

And we share the same comfort level, which is oftentimes overlooked when seeking a roommate. I don't want to be chilled in the summer with the A/C set at 70 and I don't want to sweat in winter with the temp set at 80.
