I didn't know my mind was in the gutter, tell me about this gutter?

Default good you have a girl freind

Because if you add up all the hot girls here than subtract the tourists, the hookers , the gold digging strippers and the ones that are married or seriouslly invovled you an't left with much. All of my freinds that are from back east NY and NJ say this is a hard town to date in easy to get laid , but bring your ointment cause you might get a rash.

Default West By God!

Buzz, found myself laughing hard when you referred to my home state as West (by God) Virginia. Haven't heard that in a while!! haha...i was born in Huntington, and my entire family is from there.

Asia definately won't be stripping, lol. Not because I care, cause I know she isn't going anywhere. Besides, being a hot female bartender she gets hit on enough as it is already! She just isn't that kinda girl; we both want to make as much money with our clothes on as possible.

I'm trying to decide if I want to go for the job at the club scene, or work in a Casino instead. What would you guys rather work in?

What do you know, a fellow WV hillbilly. There are a zillion of us misplaced/displaced mountaineers here in Vegas. We should start a Mountaineer Club. Go EERS! Opps, for you I guess it's WE ARE MARSHALL! GO HERD!

I always get carded at those herpes emporiums and they tell me I'm too old so go away. But I believe you'll find that the "clubs" are in the casinos anyway so it doesn't matter. I'd stay away from the gangster owned ti*ty bars that are off Strip. I'd say the benefits would be better at a casino and it would safer to work there, especially for Asia.

Default Seriously

I was trying to be funny. The reason I thought it was two girls, is because a boyfriend girlfriend saying they are hot sounds weird? Who cares about that, obviously they are in a relationship.

BUT, if you think Vegas is for you, it probably is. Someone else said they visited here in 64, and just knew this was the place for them.

I'm 58. When I was 7 years old my family and I came through Las Vegas and stayed for a night, on the way to California. I said to my mom and dad, "Some day I will live here." There was something magical and mysterious about Las Vegas. A valley with mountains all around.

So in 1983, I finally packed my wife and at the time 2 children, up and off we moved. I have never looked back. I love Vegas. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

I'm not a gambler, and I am not into parties or going out, heck I'm too old to have fun. But this is like no other place in the world.

I'm a Criminal Psychologist and have been a Licensed Private Investigaor for 30 years. I also have a clothing line.

Vegas is fantastic, it's all here if you want it, nightlife, entertainment, etc. If not, you can have a very normal and productive life and never even go in a casino.

My wife and I are in the process of building a new home, as we have lived in our current home for 23 years, having built it in 1984. It's paid off so apparently my wife is very nervous about the fact that I don't have a mortgage payment.

Good Luck guys!

Your only 58. That's not too old to have fun. It also depends on your meaning of fun.

Seems as though many of the responses to your forum are from novice, that haven't been here very long or they have and their heads are buried in the sand. Las vegas is no longer the place to move to 1 be paid what your worth unless you are not family orientated do not like spending holidays with families and have no quailtiy of life issues. The town is no longer run by the MOB of the day when I moved here it is now structured by corporations, who want more man hours and customer servcie then they are willing to pay for. So before you leap think the grass is not alwways as green on the other side and many things are not free with out a price. Needless to say if you and your friend are interested in having a family this is no place to raise children the schools rank 37th in the united states, there is a great demand for teachers and health care is one of the worst with a shortage of both unless your career choice is either of them maybe your better off where you are. m

It takes time to get a good job bartending or waiting tables in LV. You have to be patient. There are a zillion others in the service industry thinking the same thing as you. You might also want to look into the bartenders union as well.
