For that price, might I recommend going down to the Fremont Street Experience.

Start with a five or six buck prime rib dinner at the California and then enjoy the live entertainment while on Fremont Street.

Sometimes, you can capitalize on 2 for 1 deals with some Vegas shows. I would tune in to KSHP www.kshp.com to get ridiculous deals on restaurants and shows.

I don't think you can get a sit down show + a dinner for 20 bucks (worth seeing, anyway.)

I got a great deal on tickets to go see Defending the Caveman for a ludicrous price a year or so ago. Trouble is, I can't remember what that price was.

K-Shop radio is your friend!

Best cheap dinner in LV is at Ellis Island. Not sure on the price now...but it was the $4.95 steak dinner special when I had it 2 years ago. It's not on the menu...you just order it directly from the waiter/waitress. Nice piece of steak for $4.95.

Its more than that now, and I disagree that the top sirloin steak at EI is better than the prime rib at the California(or the 4 Queens one for that matter). The atmosphere at EI is depressing and the steak was tough and chewy when I had it.

The California's is only served like around 4pm-11pm at their coffee shop and includes all you can eat salad bar, potato, veggie, and a small desert and is $7.95 and tastes good.

Are you a local? if so, sign up for (google this) show Tickets for Locals, they send out daily comps for shows that aren't sold out. As far as dinner, there are so places like the others mentioned, ellis island, just remember: You get what you pay for. If you want a good buffet, it's about $25 a person but worth it on the weekends (Fri, Sat & Sun) when they have the Seafood buffet - The M resort. however I'd be there at 3:30 pm to avoid long lines/wait time.

That last one's an oxymoron.
