to the OP: i hope u don't EVEN TRY your "luck" in vegas. even if you think you are "armed" with strategy. plus, you are only 20? i am almost 40 when i acted on my dream adventure since i was your age. and i dont even have 15k in my savings. how did u get that much money anyway? pls. don't say they're student loans... u might as well jump off cliff if u plan to gamble them rather than pay for your college. i dunno about tee "u must be 21 so they can pay your winnings" rule but i know they let u play if you are 18 and over. so why won't they pay you if ever u win big money coz you are not 21?? that's a joke. by the way, i always get ask for my ID which i find both annoying and laughable.

i first got hooked with slots which by the way is the reason for all my comp stay + free slot plays + free food vouchers. then i thought craps has better odds so i studied it and tried it. no winnings but loses. the key to gambling is knowing when to quit. but as for my experience it really is hard esp. if you lost hundreds of dollars in 1 sitting. u always thought this 1 turn might be it. sadly you are only forced to stop coz u don't have any money left. and i have a high self control. what more for people who are impulsive?

i have a sis who have a gambling problem she lost her house and car and almost her family to gambling... do u think it will stop her from gambling? nope. she spent her christmas gambling.. u know u thought those stories only happen in movies but it is REAL. gambling is addicting and will ruin your life.

if i dont think of all the comp stays i get as my way of payback to my losses, i would definitely turn out like my sis, the only diff is, i dont have a family or house to lose, just my MINI. she has a better salary and job - nursing. while im forever in dead end jobs. just a thought.

I have often thought that Casinos subsidised all of these books on "How to Win".....for every one that actually WINS there are 100 that loose their shirts.....

Casinos dont need to subsidise any books because there is no shortage of retards trying to beat the odds. There is a couple of roulette patterns that is in the players favor but any decent floorman would spot it and not allow the bets to be booked. Learn BJ basic stragety and learn how to count. If you have a big enough bank roll and know how to stay under the radar of the floormen and surveillance you can profit over time.

I think you have it backwards here. The casinos could care less about roulette since the house edge on it is so high. They watch blackjack like a hawk, and it is impossible to count cards anymore. The casinos use automatic shuffling machines to shuffle the deck every hand.

Wrong the house does watch the wheel games. Roulette is the easiest game to cheat. Also not every casino uses the shuffle master to reshuffle at every hand. While you get paid to watch TV in a guard shack I get paid to drink coffee and watch over 125 games each night and argue over the phone with ignorant floor man.

but my point it that for every person that can beat the odds and win, there are 100 that have "read the book" and think they are an expert....

I think the correct term for them is

LOSERS

Ok, I gotcha, you meaning cheating. Card Counting is legal while cheating at roulette is not. As far as shuffle machines, I see them everywhere. Even if they do not have them, the casino still knows you are counting by raising your bets in a positive count. They will ban you for doing this.

We watch the action Doesnt matter if it's roulette, blackjack, baccarat or pai gow poker. Aside from that roulette and blackjack are the ones we focus on the most. Roulette for scamming/cheating and bj for counters. To the OP: there is no system that will beat the house short of cheating or counting. Don't throw your money away.

Learn to stay under the radar. You don’t need to go from min to max table bets. And also don’t get greedy. Card counting is only legal if you’re on your own at the table. Team play is illegal.
