Circumstances have me relocating to Las Vegas on 5/8. I wanted some opinions for safe, secure area for 1 br. or studio close to strip. All feedback would be gratefully appreciated.

89123 or 89183.. That is the south strip. If you can afford it rent a condo. If not there are apartment complexes.

Thanks for the info. Affordability is somewhat an issue. I'll look in the zip's you supplied.

Agreed. I live in this area - safe, secure and 10 minutes from the parking garage at Mandalay Bay. Very convenient.

Silverado Ranch is very desirable, there is lots of shopping and it is very close to the Strip, it is also very easy to get to other areas of the city from Silverado Ranch than other areas.

zip code 89103 - Spring Valley is a good place to live. I live in that area. The neighborhood area is safe and clean.
