C'mon over, you'll enjoy living in Las Vegas a lot better than living anywhere in New York State in my opinion!
As Codeda stated, don't limit yourself to hospitals only, we have many assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospices, and critical care facilities. Take a trip here first and see if you like what you see, not just the Strip or Fremont Street, rent a car and drive our neighborhoods. The scenery and geography here is totally different than New York so make sure you like the desert Southwest before you decide to move.

RN here. LPN's are used mostly on med surg floors in hospitals. You will not find them in critical units. There is an incredible need for LPN's in SNF's and assisted living centers. There are also opportunities in MH (although services there are very limited). There is also a big need in home health care. There is also a need in physician's offices. Pay will not match New York rates but living cost will be less. There may be sign ons and relocation assistance available.
