First, when I move to Vegas there will be two of us and one car. Is it reasonable to rely on public transportation, assuming I get a place near the CAT line?

Second, are hotel/casino jobs union?

Thanks in advance, cuz I know you guys are always helpful

1. you'd spend a lot of time getting from A to B. 2. Some are union and some not. either way they are tough to land.

Stay where you are if you can. Now is not the time to move to Nevada.

Other CAT: cat. Meow. ^.,.^
For bus service info, go to the rtc website. I've lived in Aliante now for 5 years and we finally have bus service. So if you moved here, you'd be able to get from here to downtown.

The nearest bus stop to me is 3.5 miles, by the WalMart on North Decatur & the 215.

It should take another 3-5 years to get bus service where you are currently.

I live in the downtown area and the closest bus stop is about 0.1 mile. Just to give you an idea of how things are different all over the city. I've only taken the bus (CAT) on the strip just to avoid driving. It's slow, but does get you there eventually. If you could live near a bus stop and have a fairly simple route (one or no transfers) to commute, i think it would be doable.

The next nearest stop is Farm & Buffalo, south of Arbor View HS. You think that they'd put one over by Shadow Ridge HS.
