Indian Springs is very small. There is one small Casino and two gas stations. There is also a small restaurant and a post office. Creech Air Force base is there which employs many of the residents. Many folks there live in trailers. Creech Air Force base is growing so that is helping to bring more jobs. Other may work for the prisons which are about 15 minutes south of the main part of Indian Springs. The schools there are run by Clark Couunty Schools, which small class sizes.

Bottom line not much there.

Air Force recruiters are tall he same for the most part, I would not use that as a basis for choosing a location. Sounds like you have done a good job with your son.

EMTs are always need so he should be able to find work no problem.
