Me and my fiance are both thinking of moving to NV soon, from PA. I'm in my early 20's, and he's in his late 20's. To give you an idea of what kind of person I am, I like nice, warm/hot weather all year round, and love city life. I have been to Las Vegas once, as a kid, and found that even as a kid there was stuff for me to do (musems, race track, etc.) And it's definitely cheaper to live here than it is in our area now. But I'm unsure of the job situation. My fiance is a DBA (database adminstrator) and I don't know if there are a lot of computer jobs for him. As for me, I mainly work in entertainment/food industry. Is Henderson nice??
I love city life but don't want to be surrrounded by rapists & murderers....
any input?

Thanks!

city life is completely different here than it is in the PA cities, just warning you about that...

most of the stuff that was here when you were a kid has probably closed, i know most of the stuff here has closed over the 12 years that i've lived here and now its hard to find something to do...

Henderson is ok, i don't like it, its also not city life...

Yes - move as far away from Philadelphia as you can.

DBA jobs in Las Vegas are rather hard to come by - but try Dice.com.
