Relocation to Las Vegas. Have looked at Condo/Townhomes in Green Valley and Mountain's edge. Not sure which is nicer. Need to be near Shopping, Hair Salons, Financial instituions, Movies, Doctors, Dentist, Hospitals, etc.

If you're looking primarily to be close to a lot of retail and other shopping, Green Valley is by far by the better choice. That said, I do like Mountains Edge, although it's a little too far out to the southwest for my tastes. And if I'm not mistaken, the foreclosure bug has bitten Mountains Edge hard.

Green Valley is more established and probably has more of what you're looking for.

GV by a lot. Note though that GV would cost around 25% more for the same place.

GV, waaaayyyy better. I just moved here from Southwest LV and like olecapt said, it beats it by leaps and bounds. Let us know if you have any other specific questions
