Owelles

I suggest you go through all my posts and find all the grammatical errors I've made on here.

You're smart. I challenge you to find all my mistakes. One by one tell me all of them.

It will take you a while to read and correct all my posts but you seem to have the time.

I'll be waiting for your response.

Since you have financial security anyway.

Not sure LV has the best pre-med program anyway.
This is actually a very good idea, mainly because of the emboldened part. If you are serious about going to med school perhaps you should look at the reputation of the school in question with regards to it's pre-med curriculum instead of what the city itself has to offer you.

For the record, just about any major city in the country has strip clubs and restaraunts. UCLA has one of the best pre-med programs in the country, and you should be able to find all the excitement and fun (and possibly more) in LA that Vegas has to offer. If I was young, in school, and didn't have to worry about funds I would definitely rather live in Southern California (think of all them bikinis Lex).

I'm pretty confident I will I mean the last time I was in Vegas I got a girl (NOT an escort) and she was the HOTTEST woman I've ever been with (not that I've been with too many). She is on a reality tv show now!

She seemed like a gold digger askin me how big my house is over here, how long it'll be before I become a doc, what my parents do but the strange thing is that she didn't ask me for any money...none...so maybe she's not a gold digger.

Than this other girl at the tattoo place wanted to exchange numbers but she wasn't my type.

I like spoiled girls who just go shopping and do nothing except look pretty haha.
Lots of this type of girl in SoCal. You should look into it.

And I'm not being facetious or giving you a hard time. I am serious. SoCal would be much higher on the list than Vegas if I were in your shoes, because of the education as well as the good times to be had (don't forget about the weather and the beaches).

Yeah I have a friend in Cali who LOVES it.

Most colleges have a 50% acceptance rate for people that are doing premed.

UNLV is right there at 48%. Usu the OTHER 50% are the ones w/o a 3.6 or 30 on the MCAT who still apply anyway.

I've talked to the advisor about it.

I'm SURE socal rocks! I've heard Cali is flippin awesome. But the thing is I've been to Vegas three times already and i'm pretty convinced its the right place for me as far as fun. Not only that theres a 4 year college (UNLV). Socal might be fun too but I've never been there...

I've considered NY, Chicago, LA (UCLA), Miami, Etc but I've never been to any of those places except Chicago once for my dads business meeting when I was young.

The only place I've really been is Vegas so I want to stick with a place I know is fun.

Well, those places are only a flight away. Take a weekend and check them out. Seriously, you are making a big decision that shouldn't be taken totally lightly. All those places you mentioned have fun, so if you are SERIOUS about your education and the future of it, you may also want to take into account the reputations of the colleges you are applying to. Not that UNLV is bad at all, just that given any choice, there may be better. And believe me, you can find fun.

Plus, Vegas is not that far of a drive from SoCal. Best of all worlds, I would think.

Yea it's only 4 hours. Leave LA at 5pm and your just in time to get the party started haha.

Obviously I don't have much talking room but wouldn't you think that the attitude would be different in Vegas?

I mean the strip area is the nations hub for Americas Adult Playground...I would think that in a big city stuff would be scattered out ya know? Like in ATL which I go to often the strip club is in one part, the NBA game is in another, the dance club is in another, Emory (which I got admission and considered goin) is in another, my favorite restaurant is in another, and so on.

I know that in Vegas everything all fun all vices are in your face in one place. You got Bobby Flays right there next to Pure. About a mile away you got Little Darlings. I mean it just seems like everything is in your face right there all fun including shows which is unique to Vegas too.

I'm originally from Southern California and I can absolutely assure you that it is just as fun if not funner than Vegas. As hard as it may be to believe, Vegas is really one dimensional compared to SoCal. I just think that you will get tired of the Sin City lifestyle after a bit. SoCal has plenty of vices available (look up Prop 215). You could stay in Santa Monica, be minutes from the beach, minutes from campus, 9 strip clubs within a 15 minute drive, be 20 minutes outside of Beverly Hills, and rent on a 1 bdrm 1 bth apartment would run you between $1000-$2000 a month depending on location and whatnot. Of course you could rent in 90210, 90211, or 90212 as well for just a little more (I would prefer Beverly Hills over Santa Monica). $2000 a month will get you a decent 1 or 2 bdrm in BH and think of how pimp asking a girl back to your place in Beverly Hills would be. You think that Vegas dining has LA dining beat? You think that Vegas nightclubs have LA nightclubs beat? Think again.

I was not aware that the UNLV acceptance rate was that high. Tuition is more affordable at UNLV as well, I'm sure.

I'm not trying to discourage you from coming here. I could really care less one way or the other. Just what I would do if I were in your shoes.

Dude OMG that would be a dream come true living in BEVERLY HILLS! I didn't realize it was that reasonably priced!!!

Ok, you're starting to convince me that sounds AWESOME.

I'm definately checking it out. Thanks!

P.S. I had forgotten about Prop 215 haha.
