I started a thread earlier ask about the general sentiment on education in Las Vegas. I found out most people my age (19) choose to get a job instead of an education.

I think that a job would be good for me because A) it'll put some $ in my pocket and B) i'll get a more complete Vegas experience and probably meet tons of people my age too

So any good suggestions for jobs? Please be unique I know McDonalds is an option. Ideally I could work at Little Darlings or something that'd be awesome hehe.

PS I have class once a day Mon-Fri from 11:30-12:45

try visiting a temp agency...they can often find a job with the most flexibility.

just wondering...did you ever see the 60's movie The Midnight Cowboy?

I've never know anyone to have to pay a temp agency. Companies that have a need for shorttime (sometimes longer) work and don't want to go through the hassle of hiring and providing benefits, contact temp agencies to provide them with "bodies" to show up on a day's notice, ususally to handle clerical or manual work. Not sure who is out in LV, but look in phone book or check online, searching for Temporary Employment. My particular company often hires the good workers who show up and have good work ethic. Others have gone out to lunch...and never returned.

Re: Midnight Cowboy...watch out for Dustin Hoffman type characters.

Most of the good jobs won't even come into play until you're 21. So crack the books and get that degree. It will come in handy someday.
