i read the op wrong.. sounded like he visits vegas once a month and would stay at the condo and rent it out when he wasnt there

I would say depending on what part of Spring Valley can range from 5-15 minutes, mainly around the 8-11 minute range to get to the Strip...

i think i want to buy a house and rent it out. i would rather buy one in los angeles where i live but the prices are too high for my taste.

seems the consensus is renters treat their house pretty bad so thats one negative i am worried about. i would be traveling to vegas once in a while though to look and see things are fine. has anyone bought a house in another city? how did that work out for you?
