Why not just avoid the doctor and save thousands annually?

Shouldnt you be asking the insurance companies for quotes rather then strangers on a chat forum?

One thing is for sure though. It is way way way too expensive for very very bad care.

Enough to make you sick, isn't it?

Come on people. Sick people go to doctors. Healthy people avoid them like the plague.
It's not even health care anymore. It's disease care.

On a health site I frequent, I saw what happens to a perfectly normal healthy looking dude. He goes to the doctor because his blood pressure is a little high. He is highly stressed, hence the blood pressure connection. They take a before photo of him. Two years later, he looks terrible, is on a ton of medication and looks like he aged 20 years.
So avoid doctors unless you break a limb. For everything else, do your own research and look to eating healthy, avoid toxins and chemicals, exercise daily and you should live long and prosper.

Nothing worse than going to the doctor sitting with sick people with other things you have not caught and then ending up sicker!

All they do is give you drugs and then drugs to counteract the side effects of the first drug and then more drugs to help your stomach handle the drugs and then some final drugs to help the stress you have from knowing you are on som many drugs.

I completely agree with this however, trauma care and other unexpected situations can rack up the bills fast.

If you fall off a ladder and break your back, get burnt, break a limb or otherwise then insurance can save you thousands.

I recently had a kidney stone (they think)...if you've never had one, it is comparable to giving birth in the pain level. Of course, at the time no one knows it's a kidney stone so I ended up in the emergency room and racked up thousands in bills...thankfully, I have insurance.

Right now I pay under $100 per month for a PPO plan with a $250 deductible and it pays 90% after that. NOTHING like that is available in Nevada at any price that I've seen.
