So, my girlfriend and I (both 19 - 20 when we move) are looking to move to the las vegas area from southern california. I was wondering how the job market is there/cost of living. We will be going to school and working full time so is it possible to live decently with a retail/restraunt/office job(2 people sharing a 1 bed apartment) looking for rent around 500-600(most). So how hard is it to get a job ? what pay are we looking at? thanks for the help guys.. any other advice is welcome. =)

Sigh...these questions have been asked at least three to five times for every resident of the Vegas Valley.

If you look in the upper right portion of the screen, you'll find the search feature. Use it. Learn From it. Love it.

Now to warn you, you're going to run into a couple of trolls here. Their names are Sheriff and Homelessman. In between hands of go fish they rant at the locals, and anyone who wants to move or visit here. Maybe they'd feel better if they took a Greyhound bus, and visit the Ladies in Pahrump.

Best of luck, kids. Join us at a DDO when you're old enough.

rent at 500 is unlikely except in a bad neighborhood...minimum wage with no experience unless she is going to dance

Can a woman dance topless/nude at that age? There's no booze at the latter, but she should still be 21 at either place.

If the place does not serve alcohol they can be 18.

Topless only then, eh? It can be good money, but that's a rough way to make a living at that age.

Yes, that's one job where 'losing your shirt' actually means you're doing pretty good!

I've never been to a strip club. It's just my thing. I like a nice brewpub.
