Just got back from a weekend there.

I have been twice and I love it.

Love the landscape.

The attitude.

The buildings, the hotels, the strip, the women!

I just absolutely love it.

I am a Texas born and raised but I think LV, Nevada might just bring this Texan to Nevada to stay later this year!

I am seriously thinking about moving to Vegas this year!!!!

I agree. Nice place to visit, party and gamble, but that's about all. Thank goodness you can pack up and leave after a few days!

There is Tourist Vegas, and People Who Live There Vegas. I only know the former.

The "ding ding ding" of the slot machines kind of overload my nervous system after about 18 hours there. It's a great place to load up on prime rib before heading out into the desert.

Prostitution is illegal in Clark County, if you lived here you would know that.

Too many people think Las Vegas is the Strip! It isn't. The strip is for visitors. The rest of Vegas, with many very nice neighborhoods is where the residents are.
If Vegas sucked that bad, there wouldn't be close to 2 million people calling it home.

Now look at bull, if he really lives here and has a sucky experience, chances are he's living downtown somewhere in a crappy little motel in a dangerous area. Yeah, that would get old fast! lol

Hawk,
Left Vega$ (Hawaii people call the 9th island) to move to San Antonio (Stone Oak) to raise my kids, but you're probably single, and love to party. Vega$ is 24/7 and I still have a VIP card from the neighborhood casinos.

I live near the red rock in summerlin and if it was just me and my wife we would stay , but i think this is a terrible place to raise kids and moving here was a mistake when are lease is up we are moving to north carolina and if you think a city with casinos and strip clubs and hookers everywhere yes in the red rock ( my freind works security ) the highest meth addiction rate for teens and adults the highest suicide rate in the country is a good place to raise your kids I think you are out of your ****ing mind.

Actually substance abuse rates for both adults and children are just about the same in NC and NV. And neither is particularly bad. There is a rural meth problem in Nevada but not particularly in LV.

Give me a break. There is a big meth problem within Las Vegas. Do some reasearch on it, there are plenty of articles. Do a google search for Las Vegas and Meth and see what you get, articles like this: http://www.kvbc.com/Global/story.asp...av=menu107_2_4

But it's not just a problem of Vegas, it's a problem in many other cities as well.

I also used to work in a rehab center in Vegas.... most of the people in there were addicted to meth!
