househunt dot org lists my house as over 3000 square feet, clark county lists it as 2500, however it is 3 floors, could it be possible that the 3rd floor is not counted through clark county.. but if that were true, the number of bedrooms would be wrong..

Go to Clark County Assessors site. Open up your record. There will a link to the building sketch for your home. Open it and you can see where they got the SF from.

It happens, although I'm not sure how or why. I got a call from a prospect in SoCal wanting to refi his investment property. I pulled up title records and it showed it as 1183 sq ft with 3 bdrms and 2 bth. Apparently the home is actually 1852 sq ft and 4 bdrm. Value wasn't there and I couldn't do anything for him anyway, but it did strike me as curious how such a discrepancy could happen.

Call them or wander down. They are, I believe, required to have it. If not online then in person. Suggest you want you taxes back until they fix it.

Have fun...that is what gov is for...to provide entertainment.

you will find mistakes on assessors site quite frequently actually.... this is not all that uncommon... but working with the county office is what will frustrate you trying to get it changed........ good luck....
