I don't if the following is completely relevant, but there is at least some useful info there:
Best Turkey Price Roundup – as of 11/9/16

Albertsons is definitely running a promotion, I don't have the circular with me, but I think it's spend $150, get a free Turkey and if you spend $100 you get a smaller one

Maybe this is of use:

Most experts agree that a hen turkey is better than a tom, but it is probably a matter of personal preference. Hens are generally smaller than tom turkeys of the same age. Hens weigh less than sixteen pounds while toms always weigh over sixteen pounds. Tom turkeys have larger bones and less edible portions, which may be reason for hens as preference. However, age not gender is the determining factor for tenderness and all commercial turkeys are young and tender.

The low price leader so far is Cardenas. Advertising whole organic turkeys for .47 per pound with a $25 additional purchase. I will have to go see if they have any big ones. Looks like Von's and Albertson's are just saying they will price match Smith's. Smith's says .79 per pound and Smart and Final Express is .77 per pound.

Anyone found a better price than Cardenas???

Albertson's is offering to match the price of Smith's lowest price turkey for a Butterball or Honeysuckle for that price. Good deal but decided to order a fresh, free range from Sprouts.

anyone check out winco?

someone mentioned you get a free turkey when you spend $100, and if you don't it's 48c/lb

It wasn't clear what state or city this was in, but it would be worth calling in or checking them out

Well, the 47 cents a pound ones were worth about 47 cents. They were the size of chickens. Darn it! Looks like no great deals this year but there were some bigger birds at Smith's.
