So I just moved out here from Philadelphia about 6 months ago. I currently live south west and my
Lease is up and I want to move elsewhere I think. I want to live around people my own age (31). Could be an apartment/condo complex or maybe a general area I look for a house in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

^^^^Don't listen to him, he's just a sore loser.

Do you work on that side of town? I suggest trying to live near where you currently work if possible.

LV doesn't really have the "hip, young, singles" residential district. Just pick a neighborhood you like.

I'm a civilian working up at Nellis, but I dot not want to live up north. Was just wondering if there were any particular areas or certain complexes that are more popular with people my age or those maybe even working in the nightlife scene around here. This is probably just to meet more people around here

I recommend looking at the apartments south of the 215 Freeway on Jones. I got buddy who lives in that area and seems that there's a lot of people who work on the strip live in that area.

Check out living downtown Las Vegas. A lot of young people who serve at Nellis rent a condo, loft or apartment downtown. Great night life and lots of people your age. You'll have fun.

Having grown up here, I can agree with the above that there is no general area for youth. Youth tend to be poor, so you can try living around UNLV, though that's more college life and younger than your age. Southwest as described above is fairly accurate, but I wouldn't consider that an epicenter of youth and nightlife. If you're weathy, try a condo near the strip or downtown. Panorama Towers, Turnberry come to mind. But you're going to get a mixed bag no matter where you end up.
