In Panorama itself might be interesting (I bet the interactions around the pool could be fun.) But the surrounding are is a industrial/commercial wasteland on the wrong side of I-15. There is a sidewalk along Harmon that goes over the highway, but that's going to be a long, lonely and often hot walk just to get to the Aria, and then even further to get out to the strip from there. Likely, if you live there, you're driving everywhere you want to go. That being the case, you can pay less, get as much space.

I work in the nightlife industry and am turning 27 next month, and while I live in North Las Vegas, most of my co-workers live somewhere along the western and southern legs of 215. Summerlin, SW Las Vegas, Henderson, and Green Valley

There's probably pretty good money to be made for any developer who can build a real walkable upscale urban development aimed at singles and childless couples who want shopping, entertainment and nightlife (on a smaller scale than the casinos) that doesn't require driving.

I'm a bit older, but I'm in a similar situation as OP. I'm looking at places in Veer, Turnberry Towers, Turnberry Place, and Meridian presently. I ruled out Sky because the management office is going through some upheaval and seems very disorganized at present. I know many of you are realtors. How would you rate the locations I have specified? I work just east of the strip between Tropicana and Flamingo in case anyone wonders.

If you are acclimatized to high rise valet parking living it may be OK in any of these. Personally I think Veer is too "Strip". Got to deal with the tourists and the whole strip thing. I actually like Meridian or think about the LVCC and a condo there. Both are very convenient yet you escape the strip at home.

Note the clientele at the Meridian is somewhat colorful...probably one of the world's best gal watching places at the pools in the summer. But be aware of how the lovely ladies pay the rent.

Meridian and Veer are the two closest by distance to my job. I hadn't considered LVCC. I will have to look into that. Thank you.

Current locals might consider this a negative. Some people new to Vegas might not. As long as you have a car, and know how to escape the strip traffic, it might not be a bad thing. My big issue is that you'd likely be paying much more for the same space/quality of housing you'd get elsewhere.
