I hope you caught the black one: ugh. That sight alone would make me pick up the phone to a professional, so kudos to u there.
A friend in Chicago pays pretty high rent and sees them in his garage regularly. I don.t know how he can stand it. I would be at my landlords doorstep in 10 minutes. I told him he may become less complacent if one bites his foot while unloading the trunk!

Mesquite beans have a natural sweetness to them - horses, mules and deer LOVE 'em.

It seems we imported the roof rats along with the bark scorpions from imported palm trees. Could people just please drop the palm tree fixation? This isn't Mexico, it's not Palm Springs, or Maui. Those things are high maintenance and provide no shade anyway.

Palm tree lovers, be glad I'm not on the county commission.

Yep you could conceivably import 10 rats per tree.....

Gross.

Like we don't have enough of our own problems without importing them.

Caught a total of 3 rats, but there are more

They seem to be eating the bait not setting off the traps

All 3 were caught with Victor traps, the other brand is terrible

I will have to get poison or the electrocution chamber

You may have a rat problem and not even know it, best way to figure it out is to look for their poop, you can google it

If you do find poop, be careful, since about 12%(?) of the rats here carry a disease (HPS) that can be fatal, it is contracted through the air from fecal matter
