Davis is using Vegas to scare Oakland into building him a stadium.

If they don't give in to him.. It makes business sense to move the Raiders for the city of Vegas just to be able to host the super bowl every few years.

And Davis will clean up with all the new Vegas Raiders gear that will sell like hotcakes.

I think this will actually happen.

And it will be the making of Las Vegas. Having a sporting team is the glue that can make a city great.

The private investors are just loans. They want a tax increase to get their investment back plus they would get all of the revenue from the stadium. Public money would fund this close to or at 100% in the end under the current plan and get no return on investment. There isn't even a live entertainment tax on pro sports in Nevada. It would be the largest publicly funded stadium project in history.

You cannot rely too much on R-J coverage on the topic. Their info is not subjective and has been called out by many. Keep in mind that one of the main backers of the stadium deal also owns the R-J. They stopped making those conflicts of interest as clear as they once did.

A few interesting and positive tweets about a possible Raiders move to Las Vegas. In the past talk of a professional sports team coming to Vegas was considered a joke. Now some knowledgeable people are taking it very seriously.

For anybody that doesn't know Jerry Jones is the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. He is one of the more powerful NFL owners and a key person in getting the approval for the St. Louis Rams move to Los Angeles.

Jerry Jones doesn't want the Raiders to move to San Antonio. Jones is also not bothered by gambling at all. He owns part of a fantasy sports betting site called DraftKings.
