I saw a stat that Baton Rouge area received more rain in 3 days that the Los Angeles area has received since 2012!

Here in New Orleans we received 7 inches during that 3 day time span, and it like a drop in the bucket compared to the Baton Rouge area (literally).

Well, in this area, we average about 4 inches per year. You can imagine what almost ten years worth of rainfall in two days would do to this place.

I have a colleague in Louisiana. I hope your state recovers quickly. You guys have been through enough

You know when this frequent rain started several days ago?

You guys will never in a million years guess what day I bought the unlimited car wash from Terrible's. Hint it was several days ago.

Fairly new here but it's my understanding that the monsoons start in August pretty much every year.

It's been raining here in the southeast at least since around 2 or 3am, with more coming on the radar it seems.

please dont forget to turn off your landscape sprinklers. with more rain expected for Saturday, should be a while before yard needs any more moisture, especially now in cold temp months.

Parts of the 95 are flooded decently.
Driving on the highway during rain here is more terrifying than anything else on the planet except spiders.
