I just got back from Vegas for a week of house hunting and will post that over the next day or so. I stayed at the Grand View (South Las Vegas BLVD and a great place). They sales agent told me that the new water park and an indoor snow skiing complex was going to be put in south of that. Not sure the reliability but that is what I was told.

that place is called the Las Vegas Wet resort, I actually thought it would be closer to Town Square, near the intersection of LVBS and Blue Diamond because south of the South Point is land owned by Station Casinos and Olympia Development, which is supposed to become another mall...Las Vegas Wet is proposed, but I haven't seen anything about it in the last couple months, to me, it sounds like a dream...

Ok this sounds really cool. But here's the one problem. They wanna build it on LVBS between 215 and St. Rose Parkway? The intersection of 215 and LVBS is already a nightmare because you have that loop-around onto the 15, people turning onto LVBS, and people going over LVBS to go the the outlet mall, or heading over to Gillespie for the rental car return building. Every time I'm over there, it takes me 20 mins just to get through that intersection! Then they're gonna add this onto that intersection? Unless they are going to build it all the way down towards southern highlands area?
