I tried all the pizza places recommended by the frequent posters of this forum.

Settebellos cannot compare. Pizza is small and dough is more like a traditional indian naan. I have to eat 3 just to be full because the toppings are sparse.

Grimaldi's was only OK. Rocco's pizza is on par on certain days.

I personally believe pizza should have a crackling outer crust. Pizza Rock is the winner. They have different styles of pizza depending on oven temperature whether is is gas or wood fired.

Hands down winner in terms of high quality and quantity.

I will attempt the 27" by myself next Sunday, after my 22 mile training run.

Can we stop the LV pizza discussion from now on?

I've been a strong advocate of Pizza Rock as well. Outstanding pizza, good service and a nice vibe. The bar has an eclectic selection of beers. And, Pizza Rock seems to attract a more upscale demographic than is typical for the area.

The only complaint I've had is sometimes they crank up the music (good Rock, by the way) a bit high as the night wears on. I like to visit with my table mates and the music has been loud enough to make those efforts difficult at times.

meh...another pizza thread

even pizza rock isn't consistently good, it used to be my favorite, but they've become a little sloppy with the quality lately... like all the other places

there are plenty of places to eat good pizza in this town

i remember loving grimaldis (still do) but both times i've been to the one at fashion show have been terrible (hopefully they fixed it now)

secret pizza place is also hit or miss. five fifty at aria is very good... haven't tried 800 degrees

there are also lots of great little mom/pop joints... pizzalicious was outstanding the first time i had it, then sub-par the second time

Subjective opinion is subjective. I have not eaten any of those places, but each person has unique preferences.

Because the perfect way to stop people from creating threads about pizza is to create a thread about pizza.
