I'm looking to try a new pizza place tonight.
Which would you recommend Grimaldis or Settebello?

I like a nice tomato tasting sauce and not too greasy.

While I still haven't been to Settebello, that would be my recommendation over Grimaldi's.

Why?

When I went to Grimaldi's, it was decent, it's just that it didn't blow me away. Frankly, I like Metro Pizza just as much or more for thin crust pizza. (Still haven't found a good deep dish here, but I plan on trying Amore taste of Chicago soon.)

A large variety of people here have consistently raved about Settebello; if I hadn't already been to Grimaldi's, I would still go to Settebello based on that information.

Let us know what you choose & how much you enjoy it.

I just got the margherita pizza at Settebello at the Lakes location. Just simple cheese and crushed tomato with basil.
There is only one size at a very reasonable price. The pizza had a very nice taste. The only problem is that the crushed tomato sauce was watery and since the crust on this pizza was very thin it made it soggy real quick.

I see Dom Domarcos mentioned. I have heard that name before and will try them next time.
