Really just get a ready made pie crust and look up the recipe for your favorite. It will be as good as anything store bought and it will be "half" homemade. Go for it!

Call 433 7437 and they will reserve what you want. Three minute pick up.

Who would have thought there was a pie factory in Sun City Summerlin.
Been meaning to try that lvoc. Thanks for the reminder.

One of the best places in town for cakes and pies is Jerry's Nugget Casino - really.

Whole Foods and Whole Oats might have good ones. Their other bakery items are good. (Whole Oats is what we call the Wild Oats stores that Whole Foods bought out.)

Trader Joe's has a lot of good stuff but might be frozen.

I would get one at Glazier's or Freeds.

I just made two pumpkin cheesecake pies today. From scratch. I started with organic sugar pie pumpkins and less than two hours later, I had pies. And most of that time was just "pumpkins sitting in an oven roasting." Actual "busy" time was less than 15 minutes with a mixer. I admit I used "ready-made" graham cracker crusts, because I don't have any graham crackers at home, and there is absolutely no difference between home-made and store-bought graham cracker crusts.

And now I have roasted, salted pumpkin seeds as a snack.

I'm not going to make anything. We are buried with work and will be loading up the trailer the night of Thanksgiving so that we can leave the following morning.
