Which hotel complex is most likely to have the best view from easily obtainable upper floors for the cheapest price, in general? What, in your experience, is the best hotel for this specific request? What has the best view?

Cheapest may not and will not equate to better rooms but Bally's in the middle of the Strip usually have special rates and a nice view. Let me warn you the rooms are old that is why it is cheaper compared to others in the area. One of the towers is having all of its rooms remodelled but won't be online soon.

Hands down it's....Hotel 32 on the top of the Monte Carlo. Absolutely an incredible boutique hotel and it's a bargain, if you plan ahead! Hotel 32

Forbes magazine was even raving about it!

To get a really good view of the strip, it's better to be off the strip. The view of the strip from the Voodoo lounge is really good (if it's still there), so, I'd assume the view from the higher floor room would also be great. This would also likely hold for The Palms, maybe The Gold Coast, and The Orleans.

Some of the old tower rooms in the Rio or the tower rooms in the Palace Station probably best. Downtown doesn't have quite as impressive views, but plenty of options there.
