What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas....except for the poor innocent person that is killed or maimed by one of these human missiles. Usually it seems the drunk one comes out of it in better condition.

Yessterday saw a car enter Sahara the wrong way. Cars, including me started honking and it drove about 1/2 block wrong way thru 4 lanes of traffic. Luckily no collision before it decided to turn around. The day before saw 2 cars just stopped in the left lane on Paradise, two drivers out of their cars about to fight - luckily decided to go their ways.

I see something COMPLETELY crazy here at least 1 out of 4 times I drive here. Not exaggerating. Running red lights seems so tame now. I feel I'd feel a little less vulnerable driving here if I had a HUMMER... hmmmm

^^^^ Try driving from the airport toward Harmon on Swenson multiple times each day....it's amazing how many cars actually make it to Tropicana going the wrong direction on a one way street.

One of my favorite recollections is from my co-worker. Some jaywalkers crossing the strip were yelling at him to "slow down" (he was doing 30), and he yelled back "cross walk"!

Every day, commuting to the strip is an adventure. It's 2013 - where's my teleporter?

What I do is HONK. A LOT. It's not "anything goes here". They can jaywalk whereever they came from. But I would bet there they don't.

What causes you to think that the drivers were drunk?

It seems like the LV strip will put sober drivers to the test.

Every time I drive here I feel like I put myself at mercy of events outside of my control. You just never know here when someone will do something completely crazy. Honestly. You kind of have to "surrender and accept" to drive here You're only very partially in control here.
