Not just drunk drivers, the sober ones are pretty much the same, horrible drivers. Two days ago, heading to Downtown Vegas someone nearly T-bone my car. The f&*&*&g b*&*&*&*h drove pass a red light not paying attention. No she was not rushing to beat the red light. The light has been red for a long time, luckily I was not driving fast.

I always hesitate at the green here.... Ove seen t-bones and dozens of near misses.

People are too distracted by the sights and their phones.

Then there's the d-bags that rent the exotics....they think the strip is a racetrack...especially just South of Sahara on that empty stretch by the new SLS.

Let's not make more of this than it is. I spent a week last month driving up and down the strip, and had no problems. It isn't a running demolition derby.

the Vegas rule [taught to me by my Road supervisor on my first ride around with Whittlesea] When the light turns green, count to three. That's about the number of cars that will hit you if you pull out instantly ......

Most of the traffic on the strip is stop and go traffic anyway. Most likely will result in a minor fender bender if an accident happens. Not a major accident. Unless you drive a Maserati.

I figured out what to do about idiot pedestrians jaywalking on the Strip. The problem is their mindset which is: "this is Vegas, so anything goes!" HONK AT THEM MERCILESSLY. That will send them a gentle message that it's NOT OK here. Don't curse or flip them off. Just honk. In my experience they stop from walking into the path of my car because something tells them the next thing that will happen is them being run over.

It was 4am. If there's no other cars on the road, why should you sit at a red light for 40+ seconds like a dumb ass?

No cars on the road at 4am? I have yet to see this phenomenon. And I would sit at a red light for 40+ seconds because I don't want the gentleman in the uniform who is most likely watching that light to give me a $$$$ ticket.
