Hello, I am looking to relocate to Vegas. I will be there the end of this week to visit for a few days. I am a single white male, college educated with no kids. I do still like to go out and have a good time on the weekends as well. I am looking for a nice area to live but isn't overly priced to rent at first when I move there. I also don't want to be too far from the strip either. Anybody recommend some good areas for me to check out? Thank you

Near all the single ladies, but if you like them then you better put a ring on it.

South Strip. Affordable rentals and condos for purchase. Close to the Strip, but not "too close" so you can live a normal life.

I think this is a very unique thing about Vegas. There are no areas where the ratio of young singles is high and everyone in their category wants to be there. Almost every other city has at least one area like that.

Also what are the nicer areas outside the strip? North, south, east, west, neighborhoods and towns? I just want to ride around the whole area when i visit to check out the city outside the strip. Thanks for all your help

All four are nice. Just put "far" in front of each. Ex. Far North, Far East, Far West and Far South.

Vegas real estate is too based on single family detached housing to generate an area like this. Someone needs to develop a mixed use, high density, mid to high rise neighborhood that would appeal to upscale urban singles and DINKs. I think there's a lot of money to be made doing this, and I know where I'd put it.

As your single and after a few minutes in LV you may not eeven go near the strip except for a show now and then. Why not just get a place with not too much furnature and then figure out where you want to be.

IMO vegas isn't like most cities. In Vegas the crime isn't as bad as people will say when you compre it to other cities. Just understsand Vegas is about taking your money. I could say more but I'm watching a Bob Hope-Mickey Rooney movie on TV..
