Sorry guys - But it is sinful to convert the hamburger into a foodie item

Fancy beef may be OK. But no exotic toppings.

YOur soul will be deep fat fried after your departure if you abuse the hamburger. .

I'm kind of a burger purist myself, but I was persuaded to try one that my husband made that was topped with grilled onions, bacon and bleu cheese. I grudgingly had to admit that I liked it.

I'm usually a pickles, lettuce, onion, ketchup, and mustard type.

My 2 cents.. Dupar's (Bay City Diner) in the Golden Gate.. if you opt for their burger instead of their phenomenal pancakes, you won't be disappointed.
