I actually caught this show this past weekend. Pretty interesting. Some of what I saw in a few episodes I've seen on the Strip before in person.

Occasionally, I have seen HBO do some documentaries from some of the various Nevada brothels. If the women there hate being there or are there against their will, they don't give that impression on camera.

I don't think most prostitutes, regardless if they work in a brothel or on Boulder Hwy, give the impression that they dislike their job. They probably wouldn't make much money if they were crying or rude to their customers. I think that most prostitutes don't even think that they hate their job. They think they're in control or that they're "hustling" these guys for their money, but really the prostitute is just detached from emotions and values. They're probably not consciously aware of why they're doing what they're doing. They're not thinking "my dad didn't love me so I'm just going to sell my body." If it was that simple, more of these women would probably get help.
