I've been waiting for the temps to cool down so I could silicone something on my roof. With the cooler day today I got out my Little Giant ladder (Costco). If you need a portable/collapsible ladder, these are great.

I stepped carefully and slowly across the concrete tiles and didn't have any issues. Mine are the flat concrete tiles though, I've always wondered about the curved concrete tiles and if you can walk on them.

You can walk on them. I have removed our shutters, painted them, and replaced them. No problems.

^This.... it used to be an issue when they only used cement to keep them on the roof, now they are secured with nails.

Dyn was trying to give you a hint to hit the old search function. I hope all is well, Airics, I know you've been given a rough time lately.

What's a "shutter on the roof" anyway?
