I like that stuff too, but only from afar. Because of business I was booked into the Queen Mary hotel one night (the actual ship when it was docked in Cali). That was enough for me.
Try walking around the back end of the Queen Mary late late at night and going up and down the stairwells..You hear and feel all kinds stuff.. And sometimes out of the corner of your eye or just out of eyesight it looks like there are people on the different floors...

Sleeping there and having the bathroom faucet turn on and off by itself a couple times was enough for me.

The paranormal activity I've encountered in my life isn't subtle. Apparently I don't take hints well.

As to Buzz's post about Bonnie Springs, the classroom there is where I get the strongest energy, but that whole place is loaded with paranormal energy. If you are a seeker, enjoy. They also have a great petting zoo, but watch out for the llama, he tried to eat my hair last time I was there.

Yeah we stayed there for my wife's work Annual Banquet and we kept hearing this banging and moaning most of the night... Just a dull banging and then long moaning which sometimes got loud then softer....

Then the couple next door got tired and went to bed.....

You can make fun all you like, but that place scared me. I just stayed in the bed and pulled the covers over my head and said to myself. " It's a really old boat. Water pressure issues- it turned itself on and off because of that "

As for hauntings here, my best friend was driving one night and swore she hit someone. She slammed on the brakes, started crying etc. Her mom was in the car and turned to her and said "what is WRONG with you?" My friend was certain she hit someone, even heard the thud, but there was no one there. I think it was either the southwest part of town or on the downhill when you are coming back from Mt. Charleston, but I can't remember.

If you're looking for proof just grab yourself a digital recorder and if you've got a couple hundred bucks to spare a Ghost Box (aka Telephone to the Dead)...You'd be surprised what you find. Spare yourself the trouble of doing it with alot of people around or you'll risk contaminating the recording session with normal sounds. Many people don't wanna do this because they just simply don't wanna know, and I respect that...But if you're up to it and aren't afraid of the responses you may receive, go for it. Just be careful of the door you're opening.

About the automatic sensors on the paper towel dispensers and faucets:

I've seen them go off on numerous occasions so I'm not sure if that's a sensor issue or paranormal, but I will say this:

The dispensers at my job tend to go off on their own. I thought it was just a sensor issue and left it at that. But one time I was alone in the bathroom and when I was done washing my face the dispenser turned on and released a towel. I ripped it off, wiped my face, but needed another one. So I bemusingly asked "Can I get another one?" after about a second or two it spit out a towel....I wiped my face dry, said "Thanks", and walked out on pins and needles.

In an effort to debunk it, I tried that trick again after a few hours and it wouldn't do it. This time I had to play with the sensor to get it to work, so you got me. Oversensitive Sensor? Ghost? I can't take recording devices to work, so I can't prove it...But either way it's interesting.

The ones that have turned on and off for me are not automatics. Manual, have-to-twist-it faucets.

Whiskey Pete's as someone mentioned above, has a much bigger reason to be haunted than The spirit of Pete. There was a still-unsolved child murder at that property and one (solved) across the street.

There were other crimes against children in that area. I don't like Primm. Never have, even when it was called "Stateline"

I heard they put Pete's bones to rest on a mountainside overlooking the town ever since construction crews dug him up.

Iverson, very bad news. The only recourse is blacklisting Cash for life, who surprisingly did nothing to stop his so-called best friend.

Harris - don't recall that one but thanks for the link.

You guys are all sitting here feeding each other a bunch of nonsense! Everybody thinks that something is haunted when someone dies there, if that was the case, the whole world would be haunted. I do believe there may be a remote few haunted places on this earth but not near what everyone thinks.

We roamed around the Queen Mary one night and even slept there and wasnt the least bit convinced that it might be haunted, same goes for Vegas, nothing here is haunted!

May as well believe in the tooth fairy. There aren't any haunted places. Because there are no ghosts.
