I will be moving to North Las Vegas in about a month. My house won't be ready until a few nights after I arrive so I will need to stay in a hotel. I would like to stay at Station Casinos Aliante. Does anybody know how to get a good deal there?

Also, any suggestions for a reasonably priced hotel in North Las Vegas in a decent area?

I stayed at Aliante Station when I was house hunting in Feb. of 2011. I found great rates on lasvegas.com but you should also check Station Casinos website as they have deal quite often. I also stayed a week at Texas Station Casino hotel, while not as fancy as Aliante, it was comfortable, not very far from the Aliante area and I enjoyed their casino. There is also a newer Hampton Inn and brand new Springhill Suites at I-15 and Craig, however they would be pretty expensive compared to casino hotel stays. I stayed at Aliante and Texas Station for around $35-$40 a night. Good luck and welcome!

Thanks for the advice and welcome. I have checked Station Casinos website and it is amazing how much the prices change from day to day. I saw a really good price yesterday but they are non refundable. Unfortunately, I don't have my exact dates yet or I would have booked it. Today the price for dates I checked yesterday is considerably higher.

Midweek is not expensive at Aliante. Stations and Aliante are having a breakup from what I hear. Rumor has it that Harrah's parent company just bought a lot of it. There goes the poker room.

It's a nice property and a nice part of town. Welcome. Enjoy the mountain views.

Good suggestion but when I was there sitting at a poker machine and offered one I didn't want to be bothered at the time. Now I wish I had

Thanks for the welcome. It has been months in the making but now it is pretty soon. I wish I had spent some of that time packing
