I would take this information with a grain of salt. At best it is fragmentary. There are over 70 zip codes listed with results and a total of 517 tests. Forty-seven zip codes have no data. Many of the zip codes have a very low number of valid tests (0 to 6). How many hundreds of thousands of houses/homes are in Clark county?

As noted toward the bottom of the file: "... Results are based on independently tested homes from 2003 to June 30, 2009, not scientific sampling..." Yeah, I'd agree it hardly meets proper sampling techniques.

We would be better served if they simply said, "We have conducted X tests in the valley, and Y% came back with radon levels that are considered hazardous to human health. The EPA and Surgeon General recommends that all homes should be tested for radon. A radon test kit costs around fifteen bucks at every hardware store in North America. That's an awfully small price to pay considering the alternative of lung cancer."
