Buzz, do you know if Lorne Greene had anything to do with that casino? We bought his house here in the Lakes

That sounds more like it.

Weird though, here's the 1981 reference google found for me (3rd paragraph)

John Mull's Meats (John Mull Meat & Deer Processing) - Las Vegas, Nevada (NV) | Company Profile

ETA, from your article, 1981 is when Chuck Frommer took over.

The Bonanza was originally located in NLV where Jerrys Nugget is now....and they had a sign on 13th st abou Ogden.....on a tall oilwell kinda tower.....the tower was still there the last time i went by....then the bonanza crew bought the name ins about 1969 and the new hotel went up at LVBS and Flamingo...in the lounge was a group called Ron May and Christmas.......they were selfstyled Sonny n Chers and had worked for S&S....then somone coughed ad it was gone and replaced by the MGM.....

Foxys was owned by Abe Fox who owned a joint called The Strip Hotel.....cause it was almost on the strip and was almost a hotel.....a weekly joint.....

Foxys had the absolute BEST EVER Kosher Dills and Saurkraut....in stainless steel bowls sittin at each table....[wonder how chanel 13 woud have handled THAT one] and across from Foxys was the Centerfold lounge.....where that phoney Worlds largest Gift shop is....[in the corner or FOLD of the building....up on the strip side was a steake joint...I THINK the Steakpit .....you walked in the door and the choice was "How do yuo want it?" $3.95 for a GIANT Steak and corn on the cob.

You think you remember topless 21 dealers but aren't sure if it was a dream.

Didn't Jerry's Nugget have the first women dealers in Las Vegas, after other towns like Reno, and Jackpot, had started the trend? Was it Jerry's that had topless dealers at one time?

Also, you can remember taking your wife to see the topless all-girl rock n roll band on the Strip. Hey, it was the 60's. Everyone went topless; even me.

I've gotten so used to seeing that oil well derrick that I don't pay attention anymore; but I think it was still there the last time I went by too. I think the one on Boulder Highway across from where the Showboat used to be is gone. I can't remember eating at Foxy's but I must have. Not that many choices back in those days.

I don't remember if that lounge was called the Centerfold at the time, but Marilyn Chambers did an act there. A lady commissioner, might have been Thalia, wanted to close it down, but after she accepted an invitation to watch the show she said it was really not what she'd expected, so changed her mind about it. I helped my associate mad man do a TV spot with Marilyn one time. It was for one of the first movie rental stores in town, and naturally they were pushing the porn section. She was very nice to work with, very professional.

Lorne performed there but don't think he was an owner. I didn't know he had owned a house at The Lakes. He died in 1987 which wasn't too long after that development was started.
