Homemade poutine or does some place really serve it? I have never seen it served outside Canada.
A bit of a technicality but it makes a huge difference, poutine has cheese curds, not cheese.

Cheese to me is all the same, but yes, they use cheddar cheese in the curd form. Delish! When my friends come to their vacation home here in town, they make it for me homemade. I've actually never seen it served in restaurants here or even heard of it until my friends served it while we were at their place having dinner.
