Is anyone aware of a group of French speaking people that meet regularly?

There's another group called the Francophones. They meet regularly for petanque and conversation.

Merci beaucoup!

I Googled the names and got some phone numbers.

Each of those groups appeal to a different demographic. Alliance Francaise has a 45ish/50+ older crowd of native speakers. The other group I believe is non native speakers. If you want to meet the French crowd, go to one of the restaurants on The Strip and have a chat with a chef or two (No joke. Many have wives and family so they are pretty cool and remember what it was like to not know anyone when they arrived with the fam). Lots of French in the F&B business in town. They are mostly off on Sundays and Mondays. Hope that helps. Also lots of French speakers involved with Cirque du Soleil (French Canadian)

Francophobia: the fear of French-speaking people in a group.

What's F&B?

Anyway, I have emailed them both, but have not heard back yet. Alliance has a Facebook page, but I cannot send a message to the administrator.

My husband's grandmother is a member of some French Org. here. I thought it was the Alliance but I will call her & find out what it is.
